Our holiday merriment continued as we made the rounds to each of our family's Christmas'. Our first stop was Daniel's Dad's on Christmas afternoon. We had a ton to eat and Jacob and Ella very much enjoyed their new gifts.

Our next stop was on Friday evening. We celebrated over dinner with my side of the family with my dad and my brother and his family.

The final stop was to Grandma's house, aka Daniel's mom, on Saturday afternoon to stuff our bellies full of yummy holiday food one last time.

Happy Holidays!

This year's Christmas was much different than last year. We added Ella to our family, and we actually got to play the role of "Santa". Jacob couldn't quite grasp that all of the wrapped boxes under the tree needed to be opened, and that most of them were his. Instead, he handed the gifts to us saying "open" and watched us finish the task of unwrapping his presents. Ella on the other hand, just wanted to eat the paper; go figure. We hope everyone had a happy holiday and we can't wait for the new year!

Christmas Time

To get in the holiday spirit, we decided to decorate the outside of our house. This is the first time we have ever decorated with lights and lawn art. Our attempt doesn't even compare to the Griswolds, but our neighbors did comment on how he was going to have to restring his lights since ours were hung so straight. Not bad for our first time. What do you think?

Jacob's 2nd birthday

To get the postings rolling, here are some pictures of Jacob's second birthday party. We celebrated at our house with close friends and family. Jacob had a wonderful time and was sad to see everyone leave. A big "THANK YOU!" to everyone for the wonderful gifts and for making his birthday a ton of fun!
