We started out the evening by going to the local fall fest, which is always a huge hit. They rode the wheel barrel train...
This was probably the best part. They had so much fun on this ride...

Had to post this. Blackmail. Ha!
My spin instructor was nice enough to invite us to go trick-or-treating with her crew (her kids and hubby and their neighbors). We've never taken the kids to do some real trick-or-treating (our neighborhood doesn't have very many trick-or-treaters), so this was very exciting for me.
Hitting up the first house...
After about 3 houses, the kids were pros. They even used their manners by saying "thank you" to each person passing out candy...
The houses in this particular neighborhood had awesome decorations in their front lawns...
Ella got tired towards the end. Good thing there was a wagon for us to borrow...
Such a great neighborhood! I'm so glad we got the opportunity to take the kids around to score some candy the traditional way. Can't wait for next Halloween!
