We're Back!

We had a fantastic time in Austin! We stayed at the Barton Creek Resort with some wonderful friends. It was nice to get away, even for just a long weekend. We got lots of sunshine and lots of sleep and it was VERY much needed. Since I'm pretty much the sole picture taker of our family, unfortunately I didn't get enough photos; I slept too much! But here are just a few that I managed to take, and a few from our dear friend Natalie.

All in all, a very relaxing weekend. I can't wait to do it again! :o)

Weekend Getaway

Well, Daniel and I are off for a little weekend getaway to Austin. The kids will be staying with my brother and sister-in-law. This will be our first trip without the kids! Yay!! Sorry for the lack of posts, but there really hasn't been much going on. Hopefully we'll have some stories to share when we get back. Until then, hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

Long Locks No More

Well, after many months of growing out his hair, we finally decided to get Jacob a haircut. It's bad enough his face turns beet red after playing outside for five minutes, so we made the decision that maybe the long locks might need to go in an effort to try to keep him cool during the summer days.

Zoo-tastic!

Daniel had the day off on Friday so we decided to have a family day and take the kids to the Fort Worth Zoo! While I was taking a picture of the hippos swimming about, our camera died leaving us with nothing to document our family day. The camera came back to life this morning though, so I was able to download the few pictures that I took. Looks like there will be a new camera purchase in our future, and another trip to the zoo!
