Singing talent

Jacob's latest "thing" is to run around and sing his ABC's.



He has also started to act like a pirate which of course entails the typical pirate talk: "Arrrr" and "Yo-ho-ho". Just have to catch that on video.

This was how we spent most of last week, with breathing treatments and Children's Motrin galore. Both kiddos were struck with a cold. They both suffered fevers and icky coughs and now Ella, still stuck with the sniffles, is the only one that has any symptoms left over. Thank goodness they are getting better! Now we can resume to our semi-normal activities.

Mayhem

Easter evening we were visited by my sister-in-law along with Jacob and Ella's cousins, Trevor, Izzie, and Abigayle. As soon as they arrived, the chaos started...

Celebrating Easter

This year was the first time Jacob was able to actually participate in hunting for eggs. So the Easter Bunny hid eggs the day before to avoid the rain coming on Easter Sunday. Jacob easily picked up on how to "properly" hunt for eggs (find an egg, put it in the basket, find another egg, and so on).
However, after our "practice" egg hunt the weekend before with the mom's club, he quickly discovered the candy stuffed in each egg. So of course, he opened the eggs first (candy falling out) and then decided it was ok to put everything in the basket.
Had to watch out for Pearl though. She's a candy thief!

Ella slept during the egg hunt, so we gave her tons of smooches instead.
