For a little over a week now, we've been potty training Ella. At first, I thought it was a little too early to be starting this (Ella's teacher was the first to mention it about a month ago). I really didn't think she was ready.
Well, rewind to August 15th...
We buy a brand new box of diapers at the grocery store, thinking it will get us through this pay period as per normal, right? Wrong. We went through said box of diapers in less than a week! What a waste! It was due to Ella constantly complaining and tugging on her diaper, always saying she needed a diaper change and throwing fits if we didn't change her (when really there was still PLENTY of room for more pee! I mean, the diapers weren't even sagging!). So anyway, after noticing we only had enough diapers to last us through our weekend trip to Mississippi, I decided it was time to just bite the bullet and start training her.
So to sum it up: everyday there are accidents, and so far, I've only lost my patience a handful of times (that's pretty impressive for me, especially lately). In other words, so far so good. And she didn't have any accidents on her first day back at school! She definitely learned faster than Jacob and continues to improve each day.
To end with a photo, here is a shot of her cute little butt in underwear!
I just want to SQUEEZE it!! :D
