Halloweeny

Halloween weekend was pretty fun this year. Friday afternoon, we went to Boo At The Zoo at the Fort Worth Zoo. A little disappointing, but the kids had fun at least.

Friday evening, we went to the Benbrook Community Fall Festival, which has turned into a tradition for us. This year, it was it was twice as big, but still a lot a fun.

Halloween night greeted us with a total of 3 trick-or-treaters, including our neighbors. Our neighborhood just doesn't have a lot of kids, mainly elders. So that evening we stayed in and relaxed. The kids collected enough candy at the previous events to last them (and Daniel and me) a long while.

Well, after trying to delay it as long as possible, Ella is now in a toddler bed. I blame Jacob. The monkey taught her how to climb out of her crib. Sigh...they grow up so fast...
